Treefort 5 Years in Review

As I try to come down from the euphoria that is Treefort Music Fest, I reflect back on the past five years of not only this blog, but life in general. When Keith and I first went to Boise, we had no idea what we were in for, we just wanted to see Why? and a 100+ more bands for 50 bucks during Spring Break. What we were met with is something I can barely put into thought without tearing up (in the best way). The love and pride that is shown in Boise is so inspiring and heartfelt, that it makes me so joyfully emotional. I count myself so fortunate and lucky to be a part of this festival and share the experience with an audience for 5 years running. I have met so many musicians, locals, foreigners, other press, and volunteers who are sincere when they tell me to keep up the good work. Treefort has inspired this blog to keep going for so long. Honestly without it I would have given it up by now.
The amount of talent that is showcased there is absolutely ridiculous. You can go to any show and be blown away with what that band is trying to accomplish, you don’t even need to listen to anyone beforehand. Seriously, more the half the bands I share on here have been to Treefort at some point in the last 5 years.
So I want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone that has been involved in making and maintaining Treefort Music Festival. And here’s to at least another 5 years!
Pictures and video to come.
